Change of Season

End of season news....

The 2016 season is coming to a close and we hope you enjoyed playing at BTC. Now that we're into the fall, club activities are winding down and you need to be aware of the following changes.

  1. The last evening Round Robin program will be on Friday, September 30th.
  2. The clubhouse will not be opened for general use starting on Saturday, October 1st.
  3. The nets will remain in place while the weather remains reasonable for playing. During the month of October some nets will be taken down, courts 4 through 6 will be available. Expect all nets to be removed by the end of October.
  4. As of Saturday, October 1st, all gates will remain locked and members will need to use their key to gain entry to the courts. Please email the club if you require a key ($5 charge) and reminder to do as you would at home and lock-up if you are the last to leave the courts.
  5. A general reminder, take your empty ball containers, water bottles and general refuse with you when you leave the courts.....enough said.

On behalf of the BTC Executive thank you for making BTC your place to play tennis. As a volunteer run operation we try our best to provide the membership with great place to enjoy activities we all love to participate in. Please have a wonderful fall and winter season of tennis and we look forward to seeing you again come April 2017.

All the best....now go and play!

The Burlington Tennis Club is a volunteer club run by members for members. It is located on the corner of New Street and Drury Lane, next to Central Park, with six fully lit hard courts. Throughout the tennis season we offer lessons, provided through our club Pro.

The YMCA is just across Drury Lane from the Tennis Club. The proximity of our two facilities may appeal to parents with young children who need to be supervised while Mom or Dad is on the courts. The Y offers a free week for a family to try out its facilities. For more information on the Y go to www.ymca.hbb.ca.
