Burlington Tennis Club has many free programs included with our memberships. We follow an approach of Try,
Learn, Play, and Compete with our programs and have something to meet all members needs. We also offer
professional group, semi-private, and private lessons through ACE Tennis, which can be found below. If you have

New Member Drop In – Sundays, 6-8 PM
The new member drop in program is a program to welcome new members to Burlington Tennis Club, provide
information, and introduce new members to other BTC members and programs. The new member drop in program
will focus on hitting in rallies with other new members and BTC hitting partners in a relaxed environment. A certified
coach is onsite to provide coaching tips and techniques as required. This is a great opportunity to play tennis in a
friendly supportive environment.
Mini Tennis Adult Program - Tuesdays & Fridays, 7-8:30 PM
The mini-tennis program is free for members who are beginning tennis and focuses on half court tennis gradually moving towards 3/4 court tennis and finally full court tennis. Mini tennis participants will hit tennis balls in rallies with other participants and BTC hitting partners. A certified tennis coach will be onsite to provide coaching tips and techniques. Upon graduation from the mini tennis program participants will be eligible to play in the full court social round robin. Register on members only portion of the website under Register for Calendar Sign-Ups . Ideal for members who want to learn to play a full game of tennis.
Adult Hitting Partner Program
The BTC Hitting partner program is to foster and facilitate confidence and improvement in their tennis game for BTC member adults NTRP 3.0 level. Should you wish to book a free hitting partner session with a BTC hitting partner e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, skill level, and availability.
Round Robins (Co-ed) - Tuesday & Friday Nights
The Tuesday and Friday night round robins are gender inclusive with fun social and competitive play in a friendly environment. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and hone your tennis game. The 7 – 8:30 PM time slot is for NTRP 3.0 players and below. The 8:30 – 10 PM time slot for NTRP 3.5 players and above. Winners move up a court and losers move down a court. Start date: Friday April 15th, 2022

Find A Partner Program
The Burlington Tennis Club will assist any BTC club member ie from NTRP 2.0 to NTRP 5.5 find a partner at a similar level to themselves. Please e-mail email@example.com with your name NTRP level (if you know it) and availability and BTC will try to assist you to find partners of similar ability. In addition, members can use the BTC website in the members only section under Find A Partner. By entering their NTRP level and availability, it will show you member matches for you to connect with at comparable levels of play.
Family Program – Sundays 2-4 PM **
Our Family Program is a new program that provides a fun time to hit with other families in a relaxed environment. The program will include kids playing with kids, parents playing with kids, and families playing with other families. A great opportunity to get some or the entire family out to play and learn tennis. All ages and abilities welcome. Tips will be provided by our BTC Coach and hitting partners. The Challenge Ladder, which replaces the Ladder League, was developed to promote friendly singles competition between BTC members. The Challenge ladder will be gender inclusive and will be based on a players ability not gender. Players will be listed and rated by ability and NTRP rating at the beginning of the year. Players will be able to challenge another player up to 7 rankings above him/her. Likewise players rated below you can challenge you if they are within 7 rankings below you.
Challenges will be pro sets first to 8 games with a tiebreaker at 7 – 7. If time runs out at the end of your 1 hour booking whichever players has won more games will be deemed the winner. If a player refuses or does not play a challenge they will be marked down on the challenge ladder as if they had lost the match. Open to 2.0 and above NTRP. Register for the Challenge Ladder on the members only section of website. Matches are booked through the tennis court booking system.
BTC Ladies Doubles League - Mondays &/or Saturdays 9 AM to 11 AM (starting Monday May 9th).
An opportunity for ladies at a minimum NTRP level 3.0 and higher, to play ladies doubles in a fun competitive round robin format. We will play three 30 minute rounds, switching partners and courts each round. This is not suitable for beginner level players. Flexible commitment, meaning you do not have to attend all of the dates available. Ladies can sign up separately for the days that they can attend. 12 spots are available for each date, and sign-ups open up each week for the week following. Twelve spots are available for each date and time slot. Players need to commit to playing all three rounds, or 1.5 hrs, for each scheduled time slot.
Mondays – 9am to 11am (starting May 9th)
Saturdays – 9am to 11am (starting May 14th)

A combination of drills, point, and match play is used in order to improve positioning, court coverage, serve, return, and shot selection to prepare players for competition.
