Junior Programs
BTC Junior Programs
BTC Junior programs are free and will include red ball beginner and orange ball 3 quarter court tennis for BTC junior members. The focus is on fun and enjoyment while developing tennis ability and hand eye coordination. The program will combine fun games, skill building, and player development. Parents are expected to be in attendance it is not a drop off program. The programs will be run by BTC and ACE certified coaches. Bring your own junior racket, water bottle, and snack.
Red Ball Program (1 hour)

Beginner level, mini tennis court, ideal for 4+ years old
May & June – Saturday @ 2 pm (4-5 year olds – Red Ball 1, 6-8 year olds – Red Ball 2)
July & August – Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 12-1 PM, 1-2 PM
Orange Ball Program (2 hours)

Progressive level, 3/4 court, ideal for 8-13 year olds
May & June – Saturday @ 3 pm (8-13 year olds)
July & August – Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 12-2 PM
Junior Hitting Partner Program
BTC Junior hitting partner programs are for BTC junior members who are under 17 years old. The Burlington Tennis Club has a volunteer group of adult hitting partners who are available to hit and rally with children of BTC members. The goal of this program is to build confidence and improve their tennis game. Should you wish to arrange a time for your child to hit with a BTC Hitting partner. Please e-mail vp.burltc@gmail.com with the junior members name, skill level, and availability so that we can match you accordingly. For children under 10 years old, parents need to be present during this program.

Junior Programs
Burlington Tennis Club's programs, camps, and lessons are operated by ACE Tennis, one of Canada's leading tennis academies since 1978. The staff consists of individuals with university undergraduate and master’s degrees, Tennis Canada coaching certifications and former top Canadian junior and open players. The coaches are full-time professional career coaches who are members of Tennis Canada’s Tennis Professionals Association and are trained to implement the programs in order to follow the most up to date ACE coaching methodology and Covid-19 protocols.

SPRING JUNIOR GROUP LESSONS 4-Week Program
Session 1 : Week of May 2nd - Week of May 23rd *No class on Monday, May 23rd - Victoria Day Session 2: Week of May 30th – Week of June 20th Participation in Junior Programs requires a Junior BTC membership (cost $95) * Payment of membership must be completed/confirmed prior to registration of Junior Program * No classes run on Statutory Holidays - Fees are prorated if a holiday falls in your session * All Fees are subject to HST
This FREE 4-week Introductory program, Family members are invited on the court to participate, This 4 week program is for players born in 2016 & 2017 (ages 4-6), Each family is provided take-home activities to practice with their children, Max 24 children accompanied by 1 family. Session Fee: $40. Spring Sessions 1: Sunday: 9:00am - 10:00am. Spring/Summer Sessions 2, 3 & 4: Sunday: 9:00am - 10:00am. Session Fee: FREE (session 1 only)
Introducing the FUNdamentals of the game using mini racquets, a bigger ball, and a smaller court size to facilitate learning and to enstill the love of the game.
A fun programme for beginner and intermediate level kids, this programme teaches kids to rally, serve, play points, and learn the rules and etiquette of the game.
This programme is for players who are more advanced club level players for their age who can maintain a rally on a full-sized tennis court with regular balls. The players enjoy friendly competition, but may not necessarily play tournaments.($48 *pro-rated if a holiday falls within your session)
This programme is for teenagers who would like to improve their ability to rally, serve, and play points through improving and linking their technique to tactics. Players will be grouped according to their level of play.

ACE TENNIS & WELLNESS CAMPS - LEARN TO PLAY
Camps run weekly, week of June 20th through week of August 22nd Weekly: Monday to Friday ~ Half Day & Full Day Camps All prices are subject to hst.
This camp is fun with an emphasis on developing the love of the sport, and the essential tennis and athletic fundamentals of all players to provide them the opportunity to pursue tennis recreationally or competitively. The first level of progressive tennis, this camp uses larger decompressed balls to allow for easier learning, 19"-21” racquets, mini-sized nets and courts (12m court), which are proportional to the sizes and skills of the students.

Depending on court and coach availability. Please Contact our coaches by email for availability. All Private Lessons are subject to a $5 Club improvement Fee, will be collected when you pay your fees on the day of your lesson.
