Junior Programs
BTC Junior Programs 2023
BTC Junior programs are offered free to members and include:
- Red Ball Beginner – mini tennis court
- Orange Ball – ¾ tennis court
- Green Dot Ball – full court
The focus is on fun and making new friends. All the while developing hand eye coordination skills and tennis development. The program will be run by BTC club volunteers and ACE certified coaches. Children will bring their own junior racquet, water bottle and snack. Parents are expected to be in attendance as this is not a drop off program.
Red Ball (1 HOUR) 4 - 8 Years Old
Beginner level, mini tennis court, ideal for 4+ years old. Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate.
- May & June – Saturday @ 12 – 1 PM
- July & August – Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 12 – 1 PM
- September – Saturday @ 12 – 1 PM
Orange Ball (2 HOURS) 7 - 13 Years Old
Progressive level, 3/4 court, ability to maintain a rally. It is ideal for 7-13 year old.
- May & June – Saturday @ 12 – 2 PM
- July & August – Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 11 AM – 1 PM
- September – Saturday @ 12 – 2 PM
Green Dot Ball (2 HOURS) 7 - 13 Years Old
Demonstrated ability to serve and maintain a full court rally, will be conducted by an ACE certified coach.
- May & June – Saturday @ 12 – 2 PM
- July & August – Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 11 AM – 1 PM
- September – Saturday @ 12 – 2 PM
Monthly Family Program – Four Sundays (April to July) from 3 to 5 PM
Our Family Program is a new and free to BTC Members. It provides a fun time to hit with other families in a relaxed, social setting. The program will include kids playing with kids, parents playing with kids, and families playing with other families. This is a great opportunity to get some, or all, of the family out to play and have fun while improving tennis skills. All ages and abilities welcome. Coordinated by BTC volunteers and hitting partners.
While free, weekly registration is required for each program and can be done 7 days in advance using Calendar Sign Up in the members-only section of the website. For more information, contact burltennisclub@gmail.com.

Junior Programs
Burlington Tennis Club's programs, camps, and lessons are operated by ACE Tennis, one of Canada's leading tennis academies since 1978. The staff consists of individuals with university undergraduate and master’s degrees, Tennis Canada coaching certifications and former top Canadian junior and open players. The coaches are full-time professional career coaches who are members of Tennis Canada’s Tennis Professionals Association and are trained to implement the programs in order to follow the most up to date ACE coaching methodology and Covid-19 protocols.

Greenwin Cares
*You do NOT have to be a member to register for ACE Team & Greenwin Cares program* Each family is provided take-home activities to practice with their children This 4 week program is for players born in 2017 & 2018 (ages 4-6) Max 24 children accompanied by 1 Ages: 4-6 [Level: Beginner]

Participation in Junior Programs requires a Junior BTC membership (cost $95)
Payment of membership must be completed/confirmed prior to registration of Junior Programs
Rain Policy:
- Clients will be issued a club credit for the cost of any lesson canceled due to rain
- All efforts will be made to reschedule any lesson canceled due to rain. Re-scheduled sessions will NOT be credited
- If a session is over 20 minutes prior to a rain out, you will be charged for the full session
- 2-hour sessions will be charged the full session rate after 40 minutes

Junior Group lessons
*Players must be junior members of club. Please complete membership purchase before registering for programs *All Fees are subject to HST
Introducing the FUNdamentals of the game using mini racquets, a bigger ball, and a smaller court size to facilitate learning and to instill the love of the game. Monday: 6pm-7pm, Wednesday: 6pm-7pm, Sunday: 10am-11am.
A fun program for beginner and intermediate-level kids, this program teaches kids to rally, serve, play points, and learn the rules and etiquette of the game. Monday: 5pm-6pm, Wednesday: 5pm-6pm, Sunday 11am-12pm.
This program is for players who are more advanced club level players for their age who can maintain a rally on a full-sized tennis court with regular balls. The players enjoy friendly competition, but may not necessarily play tournaments. ** Players need to be assessed/approved by the coach to register for Competitive Aces (otherwise, players are to register Smashing Aces program). Thursday: 6pm-7pm
This program is for teenagers who would like to improve their ability to rally, serve, and play points by improving and linking their technique to tactics. Players will be grouped according to their level of play. Tuesday: 5pm-6pm Thursday: 5pm-6pm Friday: 5pm-6pm
